NEW ORLEANS — Troy had four players score in double figures and will play for a shot at its first NCAA Tournament berth in 14 years after Saturday's 74-63 win over Georgia State.
The Trojans (21-14) advanced to the Sun Belt championship game and will face Texas State at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Wesley Person Jr. led Troy with 16 points on Saturday, while Jordon Varnado posted 15 points and nine rebounds. Jeremy Hollimon finished with 14 points off the bench, and DeVon Walker added 12 points.
Isaiah Williams scored 19 points to lead the Panthers (20-12).
