TROY – Troy head coach Neal Brown said one of the takeaways from the Trojans’ road win at Louisiana-Monroe last week was evident.
“It was clear that we are not as mature as we need to be,” Brown said as he discussed a 35-7 halftime lead that shrank to a 35-27 final score. “We have to continue to work.
“I think the next two weeks are really critical for us as a program. We have two conference (home) games and we’ve got to really get better as a football team because we are playing against some quality people.
