Troy’s deep roster of quarterbacks will be thinner when the Trojans begin their first fall camp under new head coach Chip Lindsey.
Sawyer Smith, who started the last seven games of the 2018 season, announced his decision to transfer via his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon. Cole Cubelic, an analyst for the SEC Network, also posted on Twitter that Smith has entered the NCAA’s transfer portal.
