Troy Trojans' QB Brandon Silvers looks for better outing against South Alabama Jaguars

The talent the Troy junior quarterback possesses is unmistakable. He currently ranks sixth in the FBS in career completion percentage (64.6), 20 th in completions (521), 23 rd in passing yards per game (201.9) and 26 th in passing yards (5,653).

But those numbers look drastically against South Alabama. His completion percentage drops to 47.2 percent (25-of-53), the yards per game fall to 104 and a guy who throws a pick every 50 passes on average has thrown three in 53 attempts in two games against the Jaguars (3-3 overall, 0-3 Sun Belt Conference).

Partially, Silvers’ struggles against his “hometown” team are why the Trojans have lost two consecutive to the Jaguars.
