“I wouldn’t say that because the guys have an understanding of our goal, and we’re all in,” Troy senior linebacker William Llloyd said. “I feel like offensive, defensive and special teams – we’re confident coming off the bye week.”
Trojans head coach Neal Brown noted the timing would normally be concerning, especially since Troy won three straight before the break and sits atop the Sun Belt Conference at 2-0. The break, though, might prove more beneficial – especially since the Trojans played three games on the road, including one in Idaho, during the first five games.
