Troy wide receiver Reggie Todd took a screen pass 20 yards – breaking several tackles the last 10 yards – to the end zone during the Trojans’ first scrimmage on Saturday morning.
It was one of about 75 plays the Trojans ran in Veterans Memorial Stadium, but it was the one coaches and teammates were talking about after heavy rain ended things a couple minutes early.
“Reggie made a really good play there,” Troy head coach Chip Lindsey said. “He also made a play on a fade ball.”
“He’s really a gifted athlete. He’s got great ball skills,” Hall said.
