TROY — There’s no question the Troy Trojans were certain that Marcus Webb had the potential for a big game.
The only question the Trojans had after it was simple: What took so long?
“I think it’s frustrating for everybody,” Troy defensive coordinator Brandon Hall said. “He’s an intelligent person, he’s a good person. He does a lot of good things.
“When he decides he wants to go, I mean, he’s an unstoppable force.”
Hall is talking about last weekend when Webb had seven tackles and three sacks — both career highs, by far — in a home win over Georgia Southern.
