NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Troy softball team hits the road on Thursday to travel to Nashville, Tenn. to play in the Purple and Gold Challenge hosted by Lipscomb University, which is set to begin on Friday at 3 p.m.
Troy starts the tournament on Friday with a game against Youngstown State at 3 p.m. The Trojans will play a doubleheader on Saturday against Indiana State at 10 a.m. and Lipscomb at 12:30 p.m. The final game of the tournament for Troy will be Sunday at 12 p.m. against Furman.
Troy (12-4) went undefeated in the Trojan Warrior Tournament last weekend defeating Dayton, Missouri State, Austin Peay and Mercer.
