TROY, Ala. – For just the second time in the two programs' history, Troy and Akron will meet on the gridiron. The Trojans will travel to the Buckeye state to take on the Zips with Saturday's kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. (CT) at InfoCisions Stadium.
Troy (1-1) will make the 830-mile trek up to Ohio for the first time since 2009 for a date with Akron (0-3) and a chance to improve upon their 5-3 all-time record against MAC schools.
