BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Troy's men's and women's track and field teams concluded competition on Sunday night at the KMS Invitational hosted by the Birmingham CrossPlex. Highlighted by victories in the men's and women's distance-medley relays, the Trojans also saw strong performances from the throwers and returned with new personal- and season's-best marks.
"Across the board, we saw a lot of improvements, and the team is starting to get back in the groove of regular competition since our season opener on January 16," head coach Marc Davis said. "Since the men had last weekend off from competition, it was only their second meet of the year, so I was happy to see many of them capitalize on the opportunity to race, jump and throw better than they did last time.
