TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics, in conjunction with the College Football Playoff, will celebrate Extra Yard for Teachers when the Trojans play host to Arkansas State on Sept. 28 at The Vet; kickoff is set for 5 p.m. Teachers will be the guests of honor before and during the game with special events throughout the day.
Leading up to the game, Troy Athletics will deliver school supplies to teachers at schools throughout Pike County including Troy Elementary, Covenant Christian, New Life Christian, Banks School, Pike Liberal Arts, Pike County Elementary, Goshen Elementary and Zion Chapel.
Additionally, Troy Athletics will provide tickets to the game to teachers at those schools while local teachers beyond Pike County may request up to four (4) complimentary tickets by contacting Alex Watts at 334-670-3384 or awatts177036@troy.
