HOOVER, Ala. – Two Troy golfers are in the top eight individually, and the Trojans are tied for second on the team leaderboard following Monday's opening two rounds of the Hoover Invite at the Heatherwood Golf and Country Club.
ShaeLee Scarberry is tied for fourth at even-par following 36 holes after firing a 1-under 71 in the second round and a 1-over 73 in the opening round. She finished her day with five birdies over her two rounds and is just three shots off the pace.
Elisabeth Preus had the shot of the day for the Trojans with an eagle on the par-4 fourth as she sunk her approach shot from 40 yards out on her final hole of the opening round.
