LAKE JOVITA, Fla. – A pair of Troy golfers shot even-par in Tuesday's final round of the Spring Break Shootout at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, and Elisabeth Preus tied for fifth to lead the Trojans to a third-place finish as a team.
Laura Fangmeyer and Alyssa Mercado turned in cards of 71 to close out the event, while Preus was 1-over on the day to finish at 2-over on the 6,040-yard, par-71 course. The Trojans did their damage on the par-5 holes, where they were 6-under as a team, second-best in the field, while their +24 on the par-4 offerings ranked third.
