Troy T-Day preview: Offense hopes to end spring on a high note

“We’ve got to play with tempo. We’ve got to play with passion,” Trojans quarterback Brandon Silvers said. “It starts up front … and then it ends with me. I’ve got the ball in my hands every play.”

In the second scrimmage on April 15, the defense forced a few turnovers and often controlled the line of scrimmage. There were few bright spots for the offense, and afterward Troy head coach Neal Brown expressed displeasure in the offense’s energy and leadership.

Silvers admitted he had a terrible day and aims to have a better performance in front of an anticipated larger contingent of Troy fans.
