TROY, Alabama- In its final weekend at the Troy Softball Complex, Troy (30-21, 14-10 SBC) delivered two huge wins over the league-leading No. 21 Texas State Bobcats (36-12, 15-4) on Saturday at the Troy Softball Complex. Troy outlasted the Bobcats in eight innings in game one for the 4-3 victory and game two featured a 1-0 shutout victory.
Peyton Glover and Annie Willis combined to get the wins in the circle with the help of an impressive defense and timely production at the plate.
Game one: Troy 4, Texas State 3
The score was locked at 2-2 after seven innings after Troy scored both its runs in the bottom of the first on a two-run home run from Stephanie Snyder, her seventh of the season.
