TROY, Ala. – Powered by 20 hits on the day, Troy downed Nicholls State, 10-9, before picking up a win over SEC foe Ole Miss, 4-3, in the second consecutive season Saturday at the Troy Softball Complex.
The victory marks the second consecutive season that Troy (9-1) has defeated the Rebels, and third straight season Troy has earned a victory over an SEC program.

The Trojans struck first, using a single by and a sac-fly from to take an early 2-0 lead.
Nichols (1-8) would answer with a pair of runs off Troy starter to tie the game at two in the second.
