CONWAY, South Carolina – two out two-run home run powered Troy over Coastal Carolina, 5-3, to complete the Sun Belt Conference sweep Sunday afternoon at Charles Wade-John Lott Field. It's Troy's first sweep in conference play since Troy swept Appalachian State last season.
Coastal Carolina (23-9, 4-5 Sun Belt) tied the game in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run home run by Taylor Sweigart, but Horne answered in the top of the sixth with a two out, two-run homer that scored who led off the frame with a double.
Troy (21-13, 5-4) got on the board in the top of the first with a two-run long ball by that scored who led off with a double to right field; it was Webb's first home run of the season.
