Montgomery, Ala. – Troy took care of business against in-state foe Alabama State Wednesday night in Montgomery, 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-22). The Trojans secured their 21 win of the season, tied for the most in a single season this century.
The Trojans made quick work of the Hornets, picking up their 11 non-conference win of the year in 87 minutes. Troy has never lost to Alabama State, leading the all-time series against the Hornets, 33-0.
Troy finished with seven service aces against Alabama State, led by season high of four. recorded two while added one.
