Troy Stumbles at Georgia State

ATLANTA, Georgia – Georgia State overcame an 18-point, third quarter deficit to knock off Troy, 84-80, in GSU Sports Arena on Saturday.

Walnatia Wright hit a jumper to tie the game with three minutes to play, but and dropped a pair of jumpers to put Troy up four with 1:13 left on the clock.

Georgia State went on to score the game's final eight points on layups by four different players.

Led by a 12-2 late third quarter run, the Panthers (9-8, 3-3 SBC) held the Trojans without a basket for 3:35 of the final four minutes of the frame.
