TROY, Ala. – Troy student-athletes were well represented at Troy University's Spring Commencement Exercises held Friday in Trojan Arena; 41 Troy student-athletes from 12 different programs had their degrees conferred.
Two separate commencement exercises were held in Trojan Arena with undergraduates receiving their degrees in the morning and graduate students in the afternoon. Troy's 41 student-athletes joined some 737 students who received degrees Friday. Graduates represented 30 U.S. states and territories and 13 countries.
Alabama Supreme Court Justice and Troy alumnus Tommy Bryan provided the keynote address for both ceremonies. A 1974 graduate of Brantley High School, Justice Bryan continued his education at Troy State University, where he received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in education.
