TROY, Ala. - Behind a four-run second inning in the nightcap, Troy split a midweek matchup against ACC foe Georgia Tech Wednesday at the Troy Softball complex.
After dropping the opener 4-2, the Trojans (30-10) defeated Georgia Tech (14-24), 9-5, in the game two.
Blasingame (5-0) fired four strong innings, scattering four hits and three runs. The senior struck out three Yellow Jackets to earn her fifth victory. Freshman Libby Baker entered in the fifth, tossing the final three innings to earn her first-career save.
With the victory, the Trojans have now won 30 games for the third consecutive season.
