TROY, Alabama – Leanna Johnson pitched a one-hitter through five innings of work to down ULM, 8-0, before Troy fell to the Warhawks in the nightcap, 4-1, on Friday at the Troy Softball Complex.
Katie Webb and Taylor Corbett led the offensive efforts in game one with each recording a pair of RBIs while Stephanie Snyder and Katie Lively both hit their first long balls of the season.
"It was the tale of two games; I thought we had great pitching, defense and timely hitting in the first game, but didn't in the second," head coach Beth Mullins said.
