Troy: Spirit of Steph Curry takes aim at hated Duke

A basketball fairytale in one sentence: An overlooked player with a recognizable NBA surname suddenly emerges in the NCAA Tournament at an obscure school and knocks off some blue-blooded powerhouses.

That's the story of Steph Curry, of course, who led Davidson to some upset victories against Gonzaga, Georgetown and Wisconsin in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. On Friday, another NBA legacy player is hoping he can channel the spirit of Steph in the biggest game of his life.

Wesley Person Jr., who is a three-point specialist just like his famous father and uncle, leads tiny 15-seed Troy in the first round against second-seed Duke, which is the most polarizing team in this year's NCAA Tournament field.
