TROY, Alabama – Troy senior Kate Benton was named to the NFCA South Second Team All-Region and senior Hannah Day was named to the NFCA South Third Team All-Region on Thursday.
Benton was named to the NFCA South Second Team All-Region as a second baseman. She led the team and Sun Belt with 41 stolen bases and 76 hits and finished second in the conference with 52 runs scored. Benton finished the season with a team-high .411 batting average and a .468 on-base percentage.
Day, who was named to the NFCA South Third Team All-Region as an outfielder, led the conference with 64 RBI.
