TROY, Ala. – Riding a four-game hot streak, the Troy Softball team will travel to Georgia Tech for a Tuesday midweek tilt at Mewborn Field.
The Trojans (25-13, 11-7 Sun Belt) are fresh off their first series sweep of the season after downing Appalachian State in all three games.
Kelly Horne turned in a stellar weekend at the plate, leading the Trojans with a .800 batting average. The junior smashed her first career triple in game one of the series while also blasting her 10th home run of the season in game three.
