TROY, Ala. – The Troy Softball team will open Sun Belt Conference play in a three-game series starting Friday against Coastal Carolina. Due to inclement weather Friday, first pitch from Charles Wade-John Lott Field has been moved to 11:30 a.m.
The Trojans (13-5) will open conference play on the road for the third consecutive season. Troy has also tacked on a Tuesday midweek tilt against NC State on its trip through the Carolinas.
Kelly Horne continues to lead Troy's offensive efforts, batting at a .432 mark with five doubles, four home runs and 13 RBIs.
