TROY, Alabama – The Troy softball team opens its 2019 season this weekend when it plays host to No. 9 Alabama, Maryland and Murray State in the Trojan Classic at the Troy Softball Complex. Troy opens play on Friday at 3 p.m. against Maryland and then takes on Alabama at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free to all games.
Last season, the Trojans finished with a 34-26 overall record after making a historic run in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
