TROY, Alabama – Two of the top slugging teams in the country meet this weekend as Troy plays host to No. 5 UL Lafayette in a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at the Troy Softball Complex. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. and the series finale is scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. There will be an Easter egg hunt following Saturday's game for the children in the community.
Troy (21-7, 4-2 Sun Belt) is coming off a record-breaking weekend at Appalachian State that garnered senior Hannah Day NFCA and USA Division I National Player of the Week in addition to Sun Belt Player of the Week honors.
