TROY, Ala. – The Troy Softball team will head to Louisiana in a pivotal three-game conference series starting Friday at Lamson Park.
The Trojans (22-10, 8-4 Sun Belt) and Ragin Cajuns (23-10, 9-3 Sun Belt) currently rank second and third in the league with just one loss separating the pair.
Last weekend, Troy won its fourth consecutive conference series, marking the first time since the 2008 season that the Trojans won their first four league series.
On the flip side, Louisiana has won 68 straight conference series, dating back to March 2013.
Last Friday, Leanna Johnson set the program's career shutouts record, surpassing Ashlyn Williams after picking up her 26th shutout.
