TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team battled back from a halftime deficit to score a pair of second half goals and earn a 2-1 victory over Texas State on Sunday at the Troy Soccer Complex.
The Trojans, who honored their four seniors on Senior Day, leveled the score at 1-1 in the 60 minute when headed in her first career goal off a corner from . Troy took the lead in the 81 minute when the Bobcats were called for a handball in the penalty area. Senior drilled the penalty for the game-winning goal.
Texas State jumped in front with a goal off a corner in the 17 minute.
