Troy Signs Standout Guard Emely Rosario

TROY, Alabama –Troy women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby announced Emely Rosario as the fourth member of the 2019 signing class on Monday.

Rosario, a 5-foot-7 guard from Bronx, New York, is a transfer from Kilgore Community College where she played one season under head coach Addie Lees earning NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention honors.

Rosario averaged 14.5 points in 32.8 minutes per game – both team highs – for a Lady Rangers squad that stood 33rdin the NJCAA averaging 77.2 points per contest. She ranked 19thin the country with 151 assists leading Kilgore to a 22-9 record.
