For National Signing Day on Wednesday, the Trojans have stockpiled plenty of defensive line and linebacker talent in the 2016 class, according to several recruiting services. A few carry three-star ratings, depending on the recruiting website’s rankings.
The latest pickup for Troy may be the best prospect the Trojans have signed in quite some time. Edgewood Academy defensive end Kelvin Lucky, who checks in around 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, has offers from Texas, Missouri, North Carolina State, Vanderbilt and Iowa State but appears will stay close to home and play for Troy.
Lucky joins another three-star defensive line prospect from the state, according to those two sites.
