COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Troy softball team will take a break from Sun Belt Conference play this weekend as it travels to Columbia, S.C., to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday and Sunday at the Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on Saturday and 11 a.m. CT on Sunday, and both games can be viewed on the SEC Network+ or ESPN3.
The Trojans (23-10) enter the weekend contests after a mid-week sweep of Kennesaw State on Tuesday.
Hannah Day and Kate Benton lead the Trojans offensively.
