TROY, Ala. – Troy Softball looks to bounce back after a midweek loss with a three-game series against conference for Georgia Southern starting Friday at Eagle Field.
The Trojans (18-8, 4-2 Sun Belt) will hit the Peach State looking to extend their three-game win streak against the Eagles (7-14, 2-4 Sun Belt). First pitch Friday is set for 4 p.m.
Last season, Troy swept Georgia Southern to earn the program's best conference start and best overall start since 1995.
At the plate, Kelly Horne leads the Trojans, batting .415 with five doubles, seven home runs and 17 RBIs.
