TROY, Alabama –The Troy soccer team will make a second trip to the Sunshine State this time to face No. 10 Florida State at 5 p.m. (CT) at the Seminole Soccer Complex on Sunday.
The Trojans (1-0-0) earned a 2-0 win at Jacksonville to open the season on Thursday. Senior Natalie Melillo and junior captain Maddie Brune scored goals in the victory as eight players made their debuts for Troy.
Florida State (1-0-0) took its season opener, 1-0, over Vanderbilt on Thursday improving to 13-1-0 on opening day under head coach Mark Krikorian, including an 8-0-0 mark at home.
