Troy, Ala. – Troy will get its first taste of live competition as the Trojans host an exhibition match against Samford Friday at 4 p.m. in Trojan Arena. Samford is the first of five teams Troy will see action against this season that qualified for the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
"It will be an opportunity for us to get some great feedback as to where we are at this point in the preseason," head coach Josh Lauer said. "It will give us a clear direction moving forward as to what we need to focus on as we prepare for our opening weekend tournament at Jacksonville State.
