After all, he has a world of experience in a vast array or positions and situations. And, as he notes, he enjoyed the tutelage of some of the best teachers, too.
“A lot of my thanks goes to Terrence Jones. He was here before me, and I would go in for him in some of the games and give him a break,” Lassiter said of the first-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection. “He really mentored me, helped me get to that spot where I’m in that starting role.”
Earning a starting role for the Trojans has been a battle for most of Lassiter’s career.
