LITTLE ROCK – On the strength of the fourth-lowest round in school history, Troy is in second place following the opening two rounds of the Little Rock Invitational as played opened Monday at the Chenal Country Club.
Troy fired an 8-under 280 as a club in the second round as all four Trojan counters were under par. It is Troy's lowest round since a 9-under 279 in the fall of 2014 at The Intercollegiate and just four shots off the school record.
Will McFadden leads a quartet of Trojans in the top 20 thanks to back-to-back rounds of 2-under, which pushes his season total to 6-of-11 rounds under par.
