TROY, Ala. –Two Trojans rushed for over 100 yards for the second time in as many games to propel Troy past Georgia State, 37-20, in the national spotlight at The Vet Thursday night in Sun Belt Conference action.

BJ Smith and put on a show for ESPNU as the two combined for 251 rushing yards to pace the Trojans (5-1, 3-0) to their ninth straight Sun Belt Conference victory. Smith led the charge with 140 yards on 17 carries and two scores, while Barker carried the rock five times for 111 yards.

With 9.108 yards per carry, Troy broke the school's single-game yards per carry record for the second time in five days – the previous record stood for 16 years.
