TROY – While naturally Troy fans ask a litany of questions about the quarterback competition, another position, the running backs, must answer some queries of their own.
After a sluggish start to the week, Trojans head coach Neal Brown noted the team’s tailbacks have performed much better in the last three days as the unit tries to replace longtime stalwarts Jordan Chunn and Josh Anderson. Brown noted the group performed well on Saturday when the team conducted its first scrimmage of fall camp.
“We called them out, coach (Sean) Dawkins and myself. (I) thought they responded the last three days,” the fourth-year head Trojan said.
