SAN MARCOS, Texas – Troy's Lone Star State woes came to an end as the Trojans dominated Texas State, 82-63, in Strahan Arena Saturday afternoon.
The Trojans (20-6, 11-4 SBC) haven't won in San Marcos since March 4, 2016, but used the three-point shot to lead for all but 4:26 of the contest.
All of game-high 18 points came from beyond the arc on six made 3-pointers, tying her career high. scored 17 to go along with six rebounds. Troy knocked down nine 3-pointers in the first half and 13 in the game to improve to 35-3 under when making double-digit treys.
