TROY, Alabama – After a six-game road stretch, the Troy softball team returns home on Wednesday to host Samford in a mid-week non-conference matchup at the Troy Softball Complex. Due to impending bad weather, first pitch has been moved up to 2 p.m.
Troy (25-14) took the conference series from ULM in this past weekend's games. The Trojans swept the Warhawks in a doubleheader on Saturday winning 5-4 in nine innings in the opener and 6-3 in the nightcap. ULM captured the victory in the final game of the series on Sunday with a score of 2-0.
Kate Benton and Hannah Day still lead the way for the Trojans offensively.
