Troy receiver Ismail Saleem hopes to make big plays against Clemson

As a freshman, Saleem caught just seven passes for 63 yards. Of those catches, six of them (totaling 56 yards) came against two Power 5 teams: North Carolina State and Wisconsin.

Before his four-catch, 106-yard effort against Austin Peay last week, Troy fans most remember the 5-foot-8 Saleem for making a one-handed catch for a 15-yard gain in traffic against Wisconsin. Even with his propensity to show out in the bigger games, the sophomore Saleem notes he has few expectations for himself when the Trojans face No. 2 Clemson Saturday.

“I can’t really say I am going to go out there and (have a great performance), but that’s my goal,” he said.
