Former Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers called it the “longest job interview,” maybe because the many aspects of the interview can occur at any time.
“A lot of them (NFL team officials) text you and ask you to fill out some forms and ask you about yourself,” said the record-setting Trojan, who has been competing at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile this week. “Sometimes they grab you in the hallway and ask if you have a few minutes to talk. You’re not going to say no.”
Several teams have shown interest in Silvers ahead of Saturday’s Senior Bowl matchup, where he will be one of four quarterbacks to suit up for the South squad.
