Troy, Ala. – The nation's hottest-hitting team overcame a slow start on a rainy night at Riddle-Pace Field as Troy improved to 5-0 on the season with a 14-5 win over Jackson State. Nine of the Trojans' 13 hits were for extra bases, including eight doubles and a solo home run by Logan Cerny.
Ryan Fultz became the fifth Troy pitcher this season to earn a win on the mound for the Trojans while Harry Colon hung the loss for Jackson State. Rigsby Mosley and Dalton Sinquefield each went 3-4 with one and two RBIs, respectively.
