TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Troy Softball team is primed and ready for its first NCAA Regional Appearance since 1996. The Trojans will square off against Clemson Friday in the opening game of the Tuscaloosa Regional at Rhoads Stadium.
The game is set to be broadcasted on ESPN3.
Troy (36-15) received its second NCAA tournament berth and first as an at-large selection. The Trojans posted a 17-6 mark in league play and swept five conference series for the first time since 2005.
Troy finished the season second in the Sun Belt Conference, which received four overall selections into the NCAA Tournament.
