TROY, Ala. – Katie Webb was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team while the Trojans were picked to finish second, the league announced on Wednesday.
After a record-breaking season a year ago, the Trojans were picked to finish second in the league for the first time since 2010. Troy was picked behind Louisiana trailing by 15 points.
"I am just really excited to take the field with this team on February 7th," head coach Beth Mullins said. "Being selected to finish second is great, but we are really just trying to take this season one pitch at a time and one game at a time.
