Troy right fielder Joey Denison on Monday was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year by league coaches.
Denison is batting .390/.462/.601 with 22 doubles, six homers and 70 RBIs this season for the Trojans. His batting average, doubles and RBI totals lead the Sun Belt.
Troy left fielder Rigsby Mosley was named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year. The Maitland, Fla., native is batting .339/.405/.542 with five homers and 44 RBIs this season.
In addition to Denison, third baseman Drew Frederic also made the All-Sun Belt first team. The sophomore from Niceville, Fla., is batting .
