Game-time temperatures hovered in the low- to mid-90s during the contest, which lasted a whopping 4 hours and 1 minute. On top of that, the Trojans (1-1) played a physical game with last year’s national runner-up.
Trojans head coach Neal Brown said he will alter the Trojans’ practice schedule this week in order to freshen his squad ahead of a matchup with the Golden Eagles (2-0), who were runners-up to Western Kentucky in Conference USA last season.
“We’ve got to be smart. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we’ll really have to cut back the volume of work that we do,” Brown said.
