TROY – Troy may not be as good as it looked in the first half against Louisiana-Monroe last Saturday. The Trojans certainly aren’t as bad as they played in the second half, either.
Troy head coach Neal Brown, asked Monday about the difference in the two halves, noted it still added up to a 35-27 Troy victory in its Sun Belt Conference opener.
“Last Monday if you’d told me you’re going to go on the road and beat Monroe 35-27, I’d have said, ‘Yeah, I’m in. Let’s go,’” Brown said after his team lost much of a 35-7 halftime lead.
